Sarah Kate Guthrie is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with children, adolescents, and adults ages six and older. She earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University in 2023 and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Georgia in 2017. She has provided individual therapy since 2022.
Sarah Kate especially enjoys working with women and children and has extensive experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and people living with chronic pain or illness. She welcomes clients of all religions, ethnicities, backgrounds, and identities.
Grounded in a person-centered approach, Sarah Kate integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), play therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. She enjoys incorporating creative strategies to help clients develop practical skills that reflect their individual needs, strengths, and life experiences.
